Fox Business anchor Lou Dobbs has just named the biggest scandal to come from the Obama administration, and it’s one in which most people are not familiar.
Here’s the scoop, per Gateway Pundit:
Fox News’ Lou Dobbs spoke with ‘Clinton Cash‘ author Peter Schweizer Friday evening about the Uranium One scandal which involves the entire Deep State criminal cabal.
Dobbs said, “There is no clear statement as to why we would give up, for any reason, any price, 20% of our uranium in this country. And that is a question that is left open still unanswered. and secondly, have you ever heard of anyone putting $145 million, at one moment, into the hands of the Clinton foundation? And the answer is, of course not. These questions most basic and fundamental, were armed by the very committee made up of the very agencies, departments, and individuals responsible for national security. this, this is the biggest Obama scandal. I think it may well turn out to be the biggest scandal in American political history.”
More on the scandal, via The Hill:
Before the Obama administration approved a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium, the FBI had gathered substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States, according to government documents and interviews.
Federal agents used a confidential U.S. witness working inside the Russian nuclear industry to gather extensive financial records, make secret recordings and intercept emails as early as 2009 that showed Moscow had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, FBI and court documents show.
They also obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill.
The racketeering scheme was conducted “with the consent of higher level officials” in Russia who “shared the proceeds” from the kickbacks, one agent declared in an affidavit years later.
Rather than bring immediate charges in 2010, however, the Department of Justice (DOJ) continued investigating the matter for nearly four more years, essentially leaving the American public and Congress in the dark about Russian nuclear corruption on U.S. soil during a period when the Obama administration made two major decisions benefitting Putin’s commercial nuclear ambitions.
The first decision occurred in October 2010, when the State Department and government agencies on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States unanimously approved the partial sale of Canadian mining company Uranium One to the Russian nuclear giant Rosatom, giving Moscow control of more than 20 percent of America’s uranium supply.
When this sale was used by Trump on the campaign trail last year, Hillary Clinton’s spokesman said she was not involved in the committee review and noted the State Department official who handled it said she “never intervened … on any [Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States] matter.”
In 2011, the administration gave approval for Rosatom’s Tenex subsidiary to sell commercial uranium to U.S. nuclear power plants in a partnership with the United States Enrichment Corp. Before then, Tenex had been limited to selling U.S. nuclear power plants reprocessed uranium recovered from dismantled Soviet nuclear weapons under the 1990s Megatons to Megawatts peace program.
“The Russians were compromising American contractors in the nuclear industry with kickbacks and extortion threats, all of which raised legitimate national security concerns. And none of that evidence got aired before the Obama administration made those decisions,” a person who worked on the case told The Hill, speaking on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution by U.S. or Russian officials.
Stay tuned for more. This story shouldn’t be going away anytime soon.
A Russian man discovered his wife was working as a prostitute when he saw her caught on live TV (video below).
Igor Alexeev, a father from Ufa, Bashkortosan, Russia, saw his wife of eight years, Maria, on TV as she was being busted for prostitution, the Mirror reports. Igor has reportedly separated from Maria and won custody of the couple’s 6-year-old daughter, and is now going to court, seeking to prevent Maria from seeing their child.
Igor watched as his wife, wearing black stockings and lacy black lingerie, was pulled away by police at the brothel she had been working at, in a raid broadcast live on TV.
Igor said he researched Maria online, and found her listed prices, saying that his wife charged customers around $250 for a night of her services.
Igor intends to argue in court that Maria should be barred from seeing her daughter. He said that the 6-year-old should be allowed to grow up without knowing that her mother is a prostitute.
Maria reportedly said that her husband was not providing enough money for the family’s needs, which is why she had to go into sex work. Maria said she was working as a prostitute to help support her family.
Maria faces criminal charges after the police raided the brothel where she had been working, according to Metro.
With Christmas just a few days away (at the time of this writing), it is a good time to focus on the beautiful things in life. With all the negative in the news that has become the new normal, we should take a moment to choose to consume more positive and uplifting content purposefully. Here at AWM, we love to bring you stories that will make you smile. And that’s precisely what this one is all about.
While the love between two siblings can supersede almost anything, the love between a brother and his niece measures off the charts.
In the heartwarming photos, you see a young man with low-functioning Down syndrome. The genetic disorder affects chromosome 21 and results in developmental and intellectual delay. The condition usually correlates with a distinct facial appearance and has links to heart and thyroid diseases.
People who are born with Down’s syndrome live on a spectrum between low and high functioning.
When one Reddit user, by the name of Guinean, introduced his low-function brother with Down syndrome to his daughter, he captured the interaction on camera and uploaded it to the internet.
He shared the following about the moment:
“My brother is a low functioning downsie. He used to love to hold babies, but it’s rare someone lets him know. My wife and I let him hold our baby today and here is his look when we gave her to him and then the way he held her without movement for 5 minutes. I almost cried.”
Because he watched a sense of peace wash over his brother as he held the infant for the first time, Guinean had to share the moment with everyone online. And since it went live on Reddit, it has received nothing but love and appreciation from the general public. Many people have come forward to share their own stories about loved ones with Down syndrome.
For example, one viewer wrote, “The picture on the right brings a tear to my eye, such an amazing photo. Those with DS are some of the most loving human beings on this planet, and your photos show that perfectly.”
Because the post touched many people, Guinean shared an update with his gratitude:
“Wow thank you Reddit! I’m legitimately choked up at all the kind things you internet strangers said. I wish I could communicate all of it to him. I’m really touched and can’t wait to show my parents all the uplifting comments. 100% chance my mom will start sobbing in a good way (there is more rejection for him as an adult because maybe he is fidgety in public or does a number on someone’s toilet etc. So with all the encouragement I bet she is going to be so torn up). I think you just gave her the best Christmas present ever. Thank you all a million times! Really, I had no idea so many people would be so goddamn nice.
“Note: I never actually heard the term downsie in a derogatory way but I can see how that might be a thing. I thought it was an affectionate reference. I hope it’s obvious from the context it is meant to be loving.”
By all reasoned accounts, 9-year old Larry Larimore is a hero for stopping a would-be thief from stealing his dad’s pickup truck on Christmas Day, by pulling out a pellet gun and confronting the thief as he opened the trucks door.
“As soon as he opened the door, I got scared,” Larimore told WTHR. “So I pulled out the pellet gun and pointed it at his head.”
The suspect looking down the muzzle of what appeared to be a real pistol took off and hopped inside a Chevy Trailblazer parked nearby, and sped off.
However if this incident had taken place in a progressive state like New Jersey, New York or perhaps Connecticut, rather then in a gun friendly state like Kokomo, Indiana, this 9-year old boy would most likely be sitting in a juvenile court and his parents cited and perhaps even arrested for having a “pellet gun” in their possession, that’s how screwed up we’ve become as a society.
Thankfully, however, this incident took place in the heartland where common sense still prevails, and where law-abiding citizens like 9-year old Larimore can defend himself.
The incident began when Larimore’s dad Kevin Cooksey stopped at a One Stop store to get a bottle of ibuprofen for his wife, along with another motorist named Kyle Sparling looking to buy a bag of Doritos, both individuals were strangers to each other, however all that quickly changed within moments when the two motorists realized that their vehicles were in the process of being stolen.
“When I saw my truck door open, I was like, ‘oh my God, what am I going to tell my wife?’” said Cooksey. Because his 9-year old son was in the truck, worst yet, with the engine running.
“I was thinking, I hope my son knew what to do in that situation,” said Cooksey, and apparently young Larimore knew exactly what to do.
Unable to steal the pickup truck the would-be carjacker hopped into the Chevy Trailblazer, attempting to escape, however he was quickly apprehended after a minor accident just down the road from the One Stop store, he was charged with attempted auto theft, unlawful entry of a vehicle, vehicle theft, theft and operator never licensed.
Check out the interview with this amazing young man:
Do you believe we need a universal gun law, that protects and empowers law-abiding citizens to protect themselves with handguns?
